Minority
Education in China is published under the supervision
of MOE, being the only national journal publicizing
the policies and guiding principles concerning the
education of ethnic minorities, catering to the
needs of university and college presidents, school
principals, university faculty and schoolteachers
working in minority areas, functionaries of educational
departments at various levels, and readers from
other circles who take interests in matters concerning
the education of ethnic minorities. It has extensive
influence in the minority areas in the country.

Minority Education
in China persistently adheres to the Communist Party of
China's educational policies
and policies concerning the education of ethnic minorities; engages
in the extensive exchange of experiences of education conducted
in minority schools of all types and levels and in minority
classes, disseminates experiences of educational provision in
minority areas all over the country; studies theoretical and
practical problems concerning the education of ethnic minorities; explores
the positive intellectual resources in minority areas; presents
current information on the development of minority education
from other foreign countries. By doing so it seeks to promote the reform
and development of minority education in China, and to promote
the economic development and social progress in the minority
areas, and contribute to the cause of the common prosperity
of all nationalities.
